Governance & Leadership

Our Structure

What is Governance

Governance at Core Credit Union is how the Board of Directors acts on behalf of members to set the organisation’s direction, ensuring it remains a strong, sustainable, and responsible financial cooperative aligned with members’ values and interests.

Board of Directors

Elected by the membership, the Board of Directors provides strategic leadership by establishing a clear vision for Core Credit Union and guiding the organisation towards its strategic objectives.

Member participation in Board elections is essential to sustaining the credit union’s success, upholding its founding values, and supporting the strategies that enable it to serve members, communities, and wider society.

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a statutory forum held each year, providing members with the opportunity to hear directly from the Board on Core Credit Union’s performance and to engage on its future plans.

At the AGM, the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer present the Annual Report and an overview of the credit union’s performance and strategic direction.
