FACEBOOK/INSTAGRAM/TIKTOK NAME THE VAN COMPETITION 2025

1 – The promoter of this giveaway promotion is Core Credit Union (the “Promoter”).

2 – This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with
Facebook or Instagram or TikTok. You are providing your information to Core Credit Union and
not to Facebook or Instagram or TikTok. The information you provide will be used for this
competition only and will not be shared with any other party. Please read these short Terms and
Conditions.

3 – To enter simply like our NAME THE VAN post on Instagram, Facebook or TikTok, comment with
a creative NAME that you think we should call our Van and share the post with your friends.

4 -The promotion is open to all Core Credit Union members except for Core Credit Union Officers,
or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

5 – Only one entry per member is permitted.

6 – The competition will run from Monday, 7th July 2025 and will close at 12:00pm on Friday, 18th
July 2025. A shortlist of entries will be reviewed, and the most creative name will be selected
during a raffle on Monday, 21st July 2025.

7– If a final decision is not reached at that stage, Core Credit Union reserves the right to select a
name they believe best suits the Van. Therefore, no person will be deemed the winner.

8 – If there is no decision from the names entered by the participants the top three entries will be
chosen, and a public poll will be held on Core Credit Union’s social media platforms for another
2 days. The entry with the most votes will be declared the winner.

9 – If a final decision is not reached through the poll, the Core Credit Union staff team will make
the final selection.

10 – Only one winner will be selected. The winner will receive a €200 cash prize, which will be
lodged directly into their Core Credit Union account.

11 – Non-members living or working in the common bond can join Core Credit Union by logging
on to www.corecu.ie to complete a membership application form and then take part in the
Competition.

12 – The valid winner will be contacted by us by messenger/phone and upon acceptance of these
Terms and Conditions for the promotion, the winner will be declared the official winner of the
prize and will be announced on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

13 – The Promoter may use the winner’s image for purposes of advertising, promotion or publicity
in any media without additional compensation and the prize winner agrees to take part in such
related promotional activities as the Promoter may require.

14 – Core Credit Unions decision, including any decision as to eligibility or whether to award a
prize, will be final and binding in all matters relating to the promotion and no correspondence will
be entered into except with potential winners. Any derogatory comments will be immediately
deleted and void to the competition.

15 – The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or consequential damage of any nature
in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by the acceptance of the terms and
conditions or in connection with any prize.

16 – DATA PROTECTION NOTICE – The Promoter will use your personal data for the purposes of
the promotion, including, where relevant, sending the confirmed winners notifications to you and
inclusion of your details in promotional activities if you are a winner, based on it is our legitimate
interests in generating goodwill among its members and fulfilling its obligations in connection
with this promotion.

18 – If you are the winner, you will have the right to object to the use of your personal data for
promotional activities at any time. This will not impact on any promotional activities which are
undertaken or commenced prior to your objection.
