When you join Core Credit Union, you become a Member rather than just a customer. This distinction is significant because it makes you a part-owner of the Credit Union, with equal rights to vote and influence decisions that shape its future.
Membership comes with both rights and responsibilities. The money you save is held as shares, and it’s the collective pooling of these shares that forms the loan fund, enabling you and other Members to borrow. When borrowing, it’s important to do so wisely, protecting not only your own shares but also those of your friends, family, and community.
