How it Works
Once we receive a fully completed application form either online or directly to any of our Core Credit Union branches:

Each child receives a savings card which serves both as their membership card and a weekly receipt.

If your child already has an account with Core Credit Union they keep their original account number but still receive a savings card to be able to participate at school.

A credit union official visits the school on a weekly basis to collect savings money – please contact us on 01 272 5600 for individual school days & times.

To withdraw money drop into any one of the 8 Core Credit Union offices.

Your child will be entered into members only annual raffles and competitions.
Important Information
Please note that it costs just €1 to join and also please be aware that the funds in this account are for the use and benefit of the child whose name this account is opened under.
- On their 7th birthday they will have full control of this account, including the ability to withdraw.
- Between the age of 7 – 15 years, the minor’s signature is required along with the signature of the parent/guardian who opened the account.
- From 16 onwards the parent/legal guardian’s signature is no longer required, as the minor is now a full member of the Credit Union.
